Hello,

First I would like to introduce myself. I work under the handle of CTP (Cheat The Pocket). I am a staff member for an activism forum known as The Agora Project. http://www.theagoraproject.org. I have known of Adam for over a year now and follow him on FB. I have seen the past year so many forms of activist sites such as The Agora Project, Why we Protest, Freedom Informant Network, The Occupy Movement, and the late Whatis-ThePlan. Im sure there are many more but it seems so silly to me that we have all these people trying to make the world a better place yet we all work on seperated networks of the internet. So many people have a passion to make change yet we don't discuss anything together. Im sure every site has different views on different subject matters and everyone doesn't agree on everything. What we can do is find the things we do agree on and make change from there. We all agree that something corrupt and unjust is going on. We don't have all the fact and we don't have all the answers but what we do have is each other and the more we have the stronger we are. I invite everyone to come a disagree or to agree at The Agora Project. This is a place where all people from all networks can come together . It does't matter if you are a republican, democrat, libertarian or any other party. It doesn't matter if you are a site admin, moderator or just a member of another site. This isn't an attempt to steal site members from another site or a recruitment. This is an attempt to collaborate every site , forum or blog that was made to create a better place for us all to live in. This is an Agora a place for everyone to come and share their thoughts, a place where sites can come together and help each other to improve their movement.

Drowned out by consumerism, punditry, and opinionated spin doctors. Separated by distance, language, and lines on maps. Divided by the focus on ones class, creed, ethnicity, or nationality. We have been isolated from one another. Looking to what separates us instead of what joins us. The collective voice of the people has been quelled. Money and power corrupt the world in which we live. Crooked politicians, an influenced media, betray all who trust in them, pocketing profits and treating the people as something to be manipulated. No longer there to represent the people but rather to use the people as a means to their ends.

The ancient Greeks had a place of public assembly where people would gather to trade ideas and discuss current events and politics. This was the agora. We have lost this place in the modern world. . . until now.

The Agora Project.

This project aims to provide what we are currently missing and so badly need. A space where ideas trump names and progress rules over partisanship. A public dialog where problems find solutions and ideals are shaped into actionable plans.

Welcome to the network, a place to connect. A place to do more than commune about how things are not what they should be.This is a place of organization and tactics, of sharing and mobilizing. . Together as a united collective of free thinkers in a global agora to communicate and actualize ideas.

An informed citizenry is the key component to a healthy democratic process. It is something to be feared and respected by all, for all real power lies with the people. Now we connect to create our own agora to circumvent the politics, the power, and the money of a privileged few.

This is The Agora Project. Welcome. Connect. Build. Organize. Communicate. Share. Mobilize.

sounds interesting but i have a feeling most people prefer decentralization around these parts,. as great as the agora may sound i see it as more of a starting point for more basic discussion and a zone of fools arguing. as far as honing your ideas and beliefs on specific subjects I think places like this, where most people agree, are best. regardless, ill check it out sometime, maybe my assumptions are wrong
