I am not attempting to spam on that sites behalf FTR, I almost want to register just to fight the shills and help the OP (on the site not Adam) realize that it's not just "dumb americans" it's a specific lobby of "americans".

They will claim that the YT video in the thread has been dubbed and poorly cut and pasted. Two different segments are joined, that's about it other than the CC for a german audience. then it is obvious Adam is being dishonest and misrepresenting some of Clinton's words. At one point, it is clear she is speaking on behalf of what she thinks some Iranians are thinking, while Adam cuts those words out of context to make it sound like she is speaking on her own behalf or that of Americans. Lesson learned: Always use a funny ascent when speaking for someone else so you can't be quoted out of context. She didn't even deepen her voice to sound like a man!

To give Adam the benefit of the doubt, perhaps he never saw the entire clip himself. But that stills shows him to be easily duped by some YouTube editors and a bit irresponsible for letting something make it into his podcast without checking up on the source material.

Btw, I support Iran, Russia, and China on this issue. However, I think using the tactic of misquoting out of context and using bad video editing is a bad method that can backfire.

Also, for the record, I think the original, entire clip was already bad enough in context. Baker and Clinton are revealed as either being idiots or liars or both.

What did you expect from a short news show like AVM? A ten minute segment of the interview? I watched the whole interview earlier today and for the sake of our debate I'll rewatch it, but I really don't think those clips were twisted in any way other than maybe the date of when they appeared originally vs when they were discussed on adamvstheman. Hilary plays the stealthy game of "some would say this" "others would say that". This is something a cheap reporter does to inject their opinion in place of common opinion (or what they perceive as unique to them). These are her opinions for the most part, and the opinions of our administration and tyrannical government as a whole. Her hysterical laughter aside, her words are enough to prove that A)they're trying to stop Iran (obvious but still not America's job) and B)The administration wishes to "even provoke it" as far as legitimizing the perceived threat of Iran is concerned. So I guess in short, I disagree with the popular comment on that AVM video. Michael Moore doesn't simply use video editing, he creates nontruths and distractions to keep people off the true issues at hand. Iran is not some side issue, should Israel or America or both strike Iran, I feel it would be a sad day for humanity on this planet, an unnecessary massacre.

Back to the op, did you go to the ATS thread? Does that seem like cointelpro, aipac lobby, or just simple sheeple? Or do you agree with them?

I do agree with you that Hilary's sly move of putting words into Iranians' mouths was even worse. So she deserved it. Actually, she deserves far worse. Yet that still doesn't help Adam recover from how his tactic backfired with some of his viewers.

I did read a lot of the ATS thread. Seems like a mix. Some posts I hated, some were okay. Hard to say anything for sure about people's motifs. I think it's healthy that you suspect posters might be intentionally trying to deceive, though there wasn't any one particular post there that made me want to flag it for being intentional deception because I can imagine people actually having all of those beliefs.

As to my own view, I think the US, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and company are the bad guys in this story. I'm on the side of the Persians of Iran. I'm happy to hear Russia will support Iran in an alliance. China also seems to be showing support tho hasn't officially allied with Iran. I'm also happy to hear how the sanctions have been failing miserably and mostly just hurting Europe, causing massive layoffs, by cutting off Europe's necessary imports from Iran. Russia, China, India, and other countries have actually been increasing trade with Iran over the last year, which is totally awesome! Funny, too, sanctions have cut off Big Pharma trading with Iran, which I think is great for Iran (also hurts Big Pharma), tho sadly some Iranians don't see it that way because they thought those drugs were good for them. I say, great, and maybe get some Chinese medicine instead!

I also happen to be a big fan of nuclear energy and believe every country should be allowed to have nuclear power instead of relying on oil. All people should be allowed to modernize. It is a huge injustice and disgusting that so many Americans actually publicly say shit like that another people cannot become a modern civilization.
