With all of the support that Ron Paul gets from active and retired military - are there any sources which show how many been in combat, or which branch?

I have a friend, an "inactive" SEAL, who blows off military support for Ron Paul as "DADT" or "pacifists." While he fully agrees with Ron Paul's "domestic" policies, like so many others, he totally rejects his foreign policy.

While my friend is probably "un-convinceable," would you have any thoughts on this?
